Yes, our chews are lactose-safe. While our Calcium Chew does contain trace amounts of lactose from real milk ingredients, each chew has less than 0.25 grams. Most lactose-intolerant individuals can tolerate up to 12 grams per day without symptoms.

It depends on the type and degree of dairy sensitivity you have. Because we only use the minerals naturally present in milk without any of the fat, nearly all of the lactose, some individuals are able to eat our Calcium Chew without any issue. If you have a true dairy allergy, you should not eat our chew.

We recommend eating one chew a day with or without food to help you reach your calcium goals. For women ages 19-50, the National Institutes of Health recommends 1000mg calcium a day. For women ages 51+, that recommendation increases to 1200mg of calcium every day.

You can eat more than one chew a day if needed, just separate the chews by about 3 hours to maximize calcium absorption.

You can eat it any time of day, with or without food. Whenever fits best into your routine.

Store the chews in their original pouch in a cool, dry place. Be sure to reseal the bag after each use to protect from moisture and light.

You can refrigerate or freeze them if you’d like, however it is not necessary.
